姚元根 男，1962年7月出生。1982年7月毕业于厦门大学化学系催化化学专业（学士）；1985年9月毕业于南京大学化学系无机化学专业（硕士）；1988年12月毕业于南京大学化学系无机化学专业（博士）；1989年2月到中国科学院福建物质结构研究所做博士后；1992年3月做博士后；1993年3月回到福建物质结构研究所，被聘为副研究员，1998年被聘为研究员，1999年被聘为博士生导师。现任福建物质结构研究所副所长，《结构化学》常务副主编。主要研究方向：重要生物过程中的结构化学问题（金属簇物对氮等小分子的成键和活化机理）；无机-有机杂化分子树型催化剂的研究。已发表研究论文50多篇，申请中国发明专利5项。 联系电话：0591-63173138 E-Mail: yyg@fjirsm.ac.cn
